The implementation of documented standard naming conventions for building data allows for improved understanding and readability of data. Applicable base building systems requiring open standard protocols (note: participants will not be disadvantaged if some of the base buildings systems do not exist in their building/portfolio), includes but not limited to:
- BAS
- Lighting
- Fire
- Security (CCTVs and Access Control)
- Electrical
- Vertical transportation (elevators, etc.)
- AV and digital signage
