The implementation of building systems using documented open standard protocols improves the ease of systems integration and flexibility in future system changes. Applicable base building systems requiring open standard protocols (note: participants will not be disadvantaged if some of the base buildings systems do not exist in their building / portfolio), includes but not limited to:
- BAS
- Lighting
- Fire
- Security (CCTVs and access control)
- Electrical
- Vertical transportation (elevators, etc.)
- AV and digital signage
- Parking
- EV charging
- Metering
