Application Cancellation 

Applicants are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of building registration, provided that verification has not been requested. 

No refunds will be issued after 30 days of registration.  

Ownership transfers 

If a building is sold, the Application Fee is tied to the building and not the original Applicant. New management or ownership may continue the certification process without additional charges, subject to compliance with Policy 4 – Online Application Period. 

Non-transferability and refund limitations 

Application Fees are non-transferable between buildings.  

Refunds will not be issued for certifications not achieved or for levels not attained.  

Overpayments 

Overpayments due to a BOMA invoicing error will result in a credit, applicable to the next invoice.  

The onus is on the Applicant to ensure that invoicing information, including billing details and building data, is accurate and up-to-date in the BOMA BEST Hub. 

BOMA does not issue refunds in these instances.
