The Portfolio Stream is designed for Applicants enrolling five or more buildings into the BOMA BEST Building Certification Program. It is catered to those who prefer to pay an annual fee for ongoing certification. This stream was developed to provide a cost-effective yet rigorous method for continuous BOMA BEST certification for portfolios of properties at all levels of certification.

How it works:

• • Buildings are invoiced an annual Portfolio Stream fee
  • 20% of the portfolio is verified each year
  • The entire portfolio receives a Baseline Certification once the annual 20% verification sample is met and the annual program fees are paid
  • Buildings may be added or removed from the portfolio as needed
  • A Baseline Certification for a newly registered building(s) in a portfolio will not be awarded until the program fee is paid and the portfolio’s annual verification sample is met
  • Buildings in the Portfolio Stream must operate under a common management company, using common management policies
  • Buildings in the Portfolio Stream may be located across the country. They do not need to be within the same geographical space, nor be represented by the same Local BOMA Association
