Eligibility Criteria

About Baseline Practices
Formerly referred to as BEST Practices, the Baseline Practices lay the foundations of the BOMA BEST Building Certification Program. These represent the minimum requirements for all buildings, regardless of level achieved. There are 12 Baseline Practices for the BOMA BEST Sustainable Buildings Certification and 5 Baseline Practices for the BOMA BEST Smart Buildings Certification.
All buildings must meet the Baseline Practices to achieve any level of certification.
