TIR Rulings and Verification Implications
All TIR rulings are final. When it comes time to submit the Questionnaire for verification, the official statement can be used in addition to the supporting documentation that the question requires to demonstrate compliance. The original Applicant must initiate the verification request in the same calendar year that the official ruling was provided.
