BOMA BEST Policies
TITLE
Policy 4: Eligibility Criteria
Single Stream
Applicants have six (6) months from the invoice date to complete the BOMA BEST Questionnaire. Extensions of up to six (6) months can be requested by contacting info@bomabest.org
Failure to request an extension may result in application inactivation. Reactivation requires payment of the current year’s application fee and completion of the most current version of the BOMA BEST Questionnaire, in addition to adherence to any updated program requirements.
Applicants wishing to continue pursuing a BOMA BEST certification after the lapsed application period must contact info@bomabest.org.
Refunds for incomplete assessments cannot be issued, as per BOMA BEST Building Certification Program Policy 2 – Application Fee Refund.
Portfolio Stream
At least 20% of registered properties within an Applicant’s portfolio must be verified annually. Failure to meet this quota may result in revocation of certification for non-compliant buildings.
