The BOMA BEST portfolio program offers a more cost-effective certification option for buildings owned or managed by a single firm. 

Payment for BOMA BEST applies to the full calendar year, regardless of when the invoice is issued. Fees are not prorated for partial years, and a new invoice will be issued each subsequent year. 

BOMA BEST offers flexible invoicing and accepts payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT), cheque, or credit card. 

The BOMA BEST fee is calculated as follows: 
Base Cost + (Variable Cost × Square Footage) = Fee 

• Base Cost: a fixed minimum fee based on a property size range. 
• Variable Cost: a per-square-foot charge applied to total building area.* 

• Fee: the total payable amount. 

For MURBs, fees are calculated based on unit count rather than square footage.
