BOMA BEST Sustainable

A practical approach to making building operations more sustainable.

Mission

To make buildings more sustainable by providing a road map on how to decarbonise, reduce water and waste, retrofit for accessibility and equity, and navigate climate risk.

Our Journey

Since 2005, BOMA BEST is North America’s largest environmental assessment and certification program for existing buildings. It is a unique, voluntary program designed by industry for industry; it provides owners and managers with a consistent framework for assessing the environmental performance and management of existing buildings of all sizes and types.
